Class Descriptions & Required Attire
ACRO & Tumbling
ACRO combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements (Tumbling). It is defined by its athletic character - its unique choreography - which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics.

Tumbling is a form of gymnastics performed without props or equipment. Students will build strength and flexibility as they develop their tumbling skills. We offer classes for a variety of skill levels. As students progress they will learn tricks such as somersaults, handstands, tucks, back bends, handsprings, flips, passes, aerials, and much more.​

Combo Classes: Creative/Tumbling
Our Creative/Tumbling combination classes are designed to help students discover the wonder of creative movement, dance technique, and tumbling skills. Each class will be divided to allow time for both dancing and tumbling. Students will learn basic tumbling skills and dance technique through the use of props, imagery, and guided creative activities. ​

Combo Classes: Jazz/Ballet/Tumbling
Our Jazz/Ballet/Tumbling combination classes are designed to help students discover the wonder of movement through dance technique, and tumbling skills. Each class will be divided to allow time for both dancing and tumbling. Students will learn basic jazz, ballet, and tumbling skills.

Toddler Classes
Our Twirl & Tumble movement classes are designed especially for little ones that love to wiggle! These classes are the perfect introduction to dance and tumbling, enhancing abilities such as following directions, taking turns, body and spatial awareness, rhythm, movement patterns and physical coordination. ​​​

Adaptive Dance Classes
Our Adaptive Dance Program offers our special needs students a place to learn, express themselves, share their abilities, and socialize. This program offers ballet, jazz, and lyrical classes. These classes are taught by Miss Brittany with the help of her wonderful and loving assistants.
Adaptive dance classes are completely free for special needs students. If you wish to donate to or sponsor this program please contact Jamie Adams.
Ballet
Ballet is an artistic form of dance that uses precise and technical steps and gestures. It is graceful and elegant. It can tell a story or express an emotion and can be magical, exciting, provoking and beautiful.
We offer beginning through advanced level ballet classes to fit a wide range of skill development.. Students will learn ballet technique, barre work, center floor, across the floor and ballet combinations.

Ballroom
Ballroom dancing is a style of partnership dancing where couples move rhythmically across the floor. It consists of two styles: Standard Ballroom and Latin Ballroom. Students will learn a variety of ballroom dances and techniques such as the waltz, cha-cha, swing, and tango, and more. These are beginning ballroom classes.
Breakdance
Breakdance is an energized form of dance that includes stylized footwork and athletic moves such as spinning on the knees, hands, or head. It mainly consists of four kinds of movement: toprock, downrock, power moves and freezes.​

Contemporary
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. It is more relaxed and free style where the choreography uses emotions and music to dictate the dancers movement.

Creative Movement
Creative Dance blends movement, music, improvisation, and basic dance steps while providing an excellent introduction for the future study of all dance techniques. Students learn dance fundamentals while improving motor skills, self-expression, confidence, imagination and social development.​
Hip Hop
Hip hop is a fun, upbeat, rhythmic, and energetic style dance. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking and popping.
Jazz
Jazz dance is a performance dance technique and style. Jazz dance may refer to Broadway or theatrical jazz. It consists of unique and stylized moves, multiple turns, and big leaps.
Lyrical
Lyrical dance is a dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. The style is usually danced at a faster pace than ballet but not as fast as jazz. It is a very passionate and emotional style of dance where the dancer is trying to portray a certain feeling or story.​
Musical Theater
Musical Theater is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance. Musical theater is a wonderful way to strengthen improvisation, memory and social awareness skills. Students will study the work of the actor/singer/dancer and use their gained knowledge to develop as performers. Students will prepare and present as soloists as well as members of small groups and larger ensembles.

Performing Dance Company
Our studio has multiple performing dance companies. If your student just can’t stop dancing this opportunity is what they need!
As company members, dancers have the opportunity to perform at many local events, attend special workshops, and participate in traveling performance tours. These are not competition teams. These companies are assigned by audition only.​
Pre-Pointe
This Pre-Pointe conditioning class is for students who are enrolled in Ballet 4 or 5 and are ready to prepare for Pointe shoes. Students will further develop and strengthen the muscles necessary to go on pointe.​
Tap
Tap is a unique style of dance involving specific and rapid footwork. Tap dance is characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. The sound is made by shoes that have a metal "tap" on the heel and toe.
